Freedom Independent Sales
For machine shops & job shops

The quotes you already priced shouldn't go quiet.

Picture Monday: every quote from last week already has its second follow-up out, two buyers who went quiet last spring have asked for a requote, and your estimator spends the morning on RFQs from people who answered. You run the machines. The follow-up runs without anyone chasing it.

01

What exactly do you do with my quotes and customers?

We follow through on every open quote and reach back out to customers who went quiet, under your shop's name, with messages you approve first. Once that runs, we add instant replies to new RFQs and outreach to buyers who look like your best accounts.

02

Do you touch drawings or controlled data?

No. We never ask for drawings, models or technical data, ITAR, CUI or otherwise. We work from contact details and quote status only: who the buyer is, what was quoted, when, and where it stands.

03

How much of my time does it take?

About two hours to start: a 30-minute review, a 60-minute kickoff and 30 minutes approving messages. That's our target, confirmed on the review. After that, you take the calls.

Where it leaks

Four places shop revenue goes quiet

In owners' own words. None of them shows up in the ERP, which is why they're worth checking.

LEAK · 01

Quotes nobody chases

"We send it and if they want it they'll call."

Why your ERP doesn't show itERP and quoting tools (JobBOSS, E2, ProShop, Global Shop) show a quote as open until someone marks it won or lost. A forgotten quote looks like one still under review.
LEAK · 02

Customers who stopped ordering

"They've been quiet. Probably slow on their end."

Why your ERP doesn't show itThere's no "stopped ordering" alert. A buyer who moved the part elsewhere looks like a slow quarter.
LEAK · 03

RFQ turnaround

"We get to quotes when we can. The floor comes first."

Why your ERP doesn't show itThe clock starts when someone opens a quote in the ERP, not when the RFQ hit the inbox. Nobody measures the gap.
LEAK · 04

Buyer turnover at top accounts

"Our guy at X left; the new buyer's fine."

Why your ERP doesn't show itSales keep arriving until the next RFQ goes elsewhere. Contact changes aren't tracked anywhere.
Check it yourself

Under 30 minutes, from your own records

Four checks from your ERP and accounting. No call, nothing to send us.

The full 6-point self-audit →

  1. Quotes sent in the last 12 months still open with no contact logged after send: count and total value.
  2. Sales by customer, prior year vs. current: customers that went to zero, and last year's total for them.
  3. Last 20 RFQs: arrival time vs. quote-sent time. The median gap.
  4. Top 20 customers: is the buyer the same person as two years ago?

Write the number next to each. If two or more surprise you, bring them to the review.

How much of your time

About two hours to get going. Then you take the calls.

Pipeline review

Your numbers, where revenue is lost. You decide if it's worth fixing.

60 min

Who your best customers are, access to your calendar and customer list, and who takes the calls.

30 min
Approve the messages

We write them in your name. You read them and say yes or change them.

10 min/wk
Read the numbers rolling out

One page a week: answered, followed up, held, signed. The page itself is being built now.

These times are our target, not a promise. We confirm yours on the review.

Contact and quote status only. No drawings, no models, no technical data, no controlled information. Your customer records stay yours and export anytime.

Pipeline review

Bring your open quotes. We'll look at them with you.

A 30-minute look at your own numbers. If there's nothing worth fixing, we'll say so and end early.
