The questions owners actually ask
Straight answers. Ask the assistant, or read the written answers below. If something depends on your numbers, that's what the review is for.
Ask it your way.
The assistant answers from the same written library as the questions below. It won't quote prices or promise results, and it says so when it doesn't know.

The basics
What exactly do you do?
We set up and run the part of sales that happens around you: replying to inquiries fast, getting booked meetings to happen, following up on every quote, reviving past customers, and, if you want it, finding new conversations. You do the work and close the deals.
Are you a lead-generation agency?
No. Lead vendors sell you a list and appointment setters sell you a booked call. Then it's your problem. We start with the leads you already have and follow each one to a signature. New outreach is one part of what we do, not the whole thing.
Are you a software company?
No. We use the best tools available (a CRM, a booking assistant, email, calendar and automation), connect them, and run them for you. When a better tool shows up, we switch it in. Your data isn't locked in.
Isn't this just GoHighLevel with a markup?
It's built on HighLevel, and that's on purpose. It's a proven platform that reports powering more than 2 million businesses, so you're not betting on something we invented. On top of it we add separate email-sending infrastructure, prospect data and verification, automation, our own booking assistant, a sales-support layer for your reps, and monitoring. What you're paying for is what no platform comes with: the research on your market, the messages written for your industry, the follow-up playbook from 30 years in sales, and someone running it and reporting to you every week.
Who is this for?
B2B firms, usually 5 to 100 people, that write quotes or proposals and where one good customer is worth five figures a year. Think machine shops, fire and life-safety, commercial HVAC, engineering firms and dental labs. We picked industries where the need is high and few firms like us work, so we can do the work properly for a small number of clients.
How it works
What happens on the pipeline review?
30 minutes on your numbers: how many quotes are open, how fast inquiries get answered, how many meetings no-show, how many past customers have gone quiet. You leave with the number whether you hire us or not. If there's nothing worth fixing, we'll say so.
How much of my time does this take?
An hour or two to start: one call to agree on who your best customers are, and approving the first messages. After that, you take the calls we put on your calendar and look at one page of numbers a week.
Do I have to switch CRMs or tools?
No. The system runs on our platform under your brand, with its own app for your team. Your Google or Outlook calendar syncs both ways, and we import your customers and open quotes. If you're keeping your current CRM, we send updates to it where it allows that.
How fast will I see something?
Revival and Close work on leads you already have, so work starts as soon as setup is done, without waiting for new sending domains to warm up. New outreach takes longer, because new sending domains have to warm up before they send at volume. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the review, not a promise.
What do you need from me to start?
Access to your calendar and CRM (or a spreadsheet of past customers and open quotes), your best customer examples, and someone to take the meetings.
Trust and control
Will this spam my customers or hurt my reputation?
No. You approve every message. Outreach to new companies goes from separate warmed domains, never your main email, at low daily volume, with an opt-out on every message. We never send cold text messages, make robocalls or automate LinkedIn.
Is a bot going to talk to my customers?
Only where you want it. The booking assistant on your site answers questions and books calls; it hands real conversations to you. Every email we send on your behalf is written and approved by people.
Does it get better over time, or is it set and forget?
It's never set and forget. We review your numbers weekly and make one or two changes with the reason written down. The playbook, the messages and the support for your reps (call briefs, alerts, coaching material) keep improving as we learn what works. What we learn carries over; your data never leaves your accounts.
Do you help with referrals and repeat customers?
Yes. It's part of Revival and every package above it. The system asks happy customers for referrals at the right moment (after a signed deal or a finished job), tracks who sent whom, and makes sure they're thanked. It also sends renewal, reorder and service reminders so one-time buyers come back.
Does every rep get their own assistant?
That's rolling out. Leads can already be assigned to reps or rotated between them. The per-rep assistant, with a brief before every call, quote alerts, reminders and stall flags for each rep's own deals, is being built now, and managers will see results by rep. On the review we'll tell you exactly when it's ready for your setup.
Can managers review sales calls?
That's rolling out. Calls through the system are recorded with a disclosure, summarized automatically, and flagged for next steps, objections and deals at risk, so managers can coach from real calls. Recording rules vary by state, and we set the disclosure accordingly.
Can my reps add leads they find themselves?
Yes, that's rolling out: from an event, a referral or LinkedIn (done by hand, never automated). A rep adds the contact from their phone or a QR code, the same follow-up starts, and the lead is credited to them.
What happens after a deal is signed?
We keep going: an onboarding check-in, a review request, a referral ask at the right moment, renewal and reorder reminders, and outreach to similar companies near your new customer. Parts of this are rolling out now.
Who owns the data?
Your customer records, conversations and history are yours, and you can export them anytime. The system is rented, so the sending domains, mailboxes and automations we run stay ours. If you leave, you get a full export, and any phone number registered to your business ports to you.
Do you make calls or texts for me?
No cold calls and no cold texts. Texts only go to people who asked to hear from you, like reminders for a meeting they booked.
Money
What does it cost?
It depends on what you're fixing and how much volume you need, so we price after the review, in writing. No surprises, and no paying for things you don't need.
Do you guarantee results?
We don't promise revenue we can't control. We do commit to the work: every inquiry answered, every quote followed up, every number reported weekly. If the numbers don't move, you'll see it as clearly as we do.
Will my salespeople still have a job?
Yes, and a better one. The system takes the chasing, reminding and logging off their plate so they spend more of the week on calls and closing. It doesn't replace the person who builds the relationship and closes the deal.
Will this help me hire and keep salespeople?
It helps with the parts we control. A new rep starts with a written process, a full pipeline and every customer's history, so they ramp faster and have a fair shot at their number. Pay, culture and management still decide who stays.
Will I need to hire more people?
Not to do the follow-up. The system does the chasing, reminding and logging. You may need people to do the extra work it brings in. That's a good problem, and the volume dial lets you match new leads to what your team can take on.
Will this let me charge more?
Not by itself. What it does is take away the pressure that makes firms discount: a thin pipeline where every deal feels like the last one. With more of the right conversations, you can hold your price and walk away from work that doesn't fit. Whether you raise prices is your call.
Why not just hire a salesperson?
You may still want one. A good salesperson should be closing, not chasing quotes and sending reminders. We handle the chasing so whoever closes, you or a rep, spends their time on calls that matter.
About us
Who's behind Freedom Independent Sales?
Phil Gilliam: 30 years in sales, including building new sales teams and verticals, five years at Wells Fargo, and about six years selling to medical practices. He's started several companies. A couple did very well and several failed, which is where most of what he knows about follow-up came from.
Do you only work in certain industries?
We focus on firms that quote for a living and have repeat customers. If that's you and you're not on our list, ask. Deals get lost in the same places everywhere.
Start with your numbers, not our pitch.
A 30-minute pipeline review. How your pipeline works today, what the leaks cost, and what it looks like when it runs. If there's nothing worth fixing, we'll say so and end early.
